I was here when before all the changes were done.I lived and worked here for almost 27 years and now would call it my 2nd hometown!!! One day I wish too come back and retire there as I still go there many times just love the walks the boardwalk/water front is just beautiful.Yes it took many years to make her what she is today a place for me in which too enjoy the big ships and concerts "Yankee Home Coming" is always a great time that we always look forward too to this day!! Thank You!!

ReplyDeletethat was very interesting. I grew up during the the urban renewal. At the time it looked like a disaster where a bomb had gone off. All the beautiful structures torn down to make way for new bldgs. My mom was one to take all kinds of pictures during the changes that I have kept in a book.
