This s great stuff. Newburyport was major player in the revolution. Washington Stayed at the Tracy Mansion and he had me to New England on his grand tour. He also had dinner at the Michael Dalton House across the street from Tracy Mansion. Tracy's house looked like a Palladian Mansion with wings on either side winding out to now State Street one on the Taffy's side and one on the Wolfe tavern side
ReplyDeleteJ. Charles Moulton, age 62 lived at 129 Old Ferry Rd. NBPT in 1940 – this is on the way to the old ferry which GW would have taken to cross the Merrimack.
